I have recently posted a "wish list" to Adopt-A-Classroom.org.
The steps are pretty simple:
1) Just go to the website, http://www.adoptaclassroom.org/
2) Pick our 4th grade classroom.
3) 100% of your donations go toward the teacher
4) I can purchase the resources for classroom.
- Teachers spend an average of $1,200 of their own money each year purchasing materials for their classroom.
- Every teacher affects 3,000 students in their professional lifetime.
- 50% of teachers leave the profession within the first five years.
- Teachers cite lack of support as the top reason for leaving their profession.
